First of all, I love having you as a client. I love what I do and really want to see changes in the appearance and health of your skin. So, here is the list.
- Stop Picking! Please? We can tell that you do! I can tell by looking at it. Picking inflames, irritates, spreads and can cause scarring.
- Protecting your skin with sunscreen.
- Stop the tanning! Whether sitting outside for prolonged times or going to the tanning booth, its not healthy! When your skin is super dark, I know you have been outside in the sun with little or no sunscreen! Any time you go outside you should have sunscreen on.
- Feel free to ask for my advice, listen to my skin care advice, and stop doing what you were doing before you came to me. Please, when we recommend doing something, washing your face twice a day, or using a product, etc, try it, believe me, we know skin. And, stop listening to “experts” such as what you read on the internet, Pinterest or hear from a friend or relative.
- Support your local small business instead of that big corporate or franchise spa! Especially one owned by a woman. We spend the time with you and your skin and want to see changes. We really get pleasure seeing the improvement in your skin and making you happy! You aren’t just a number to me!
- Please stop buying our recommended products on Amazon. We take the time to analyze, examine and work with your skin, why would you buy elsewhere? Other reasons you shouldn’t buy on Amazon?
- fake products
- not fresh
- Be Truthful about how often you exfoliate, and listen to my advice on exfoliation and what to use.
- Stop using an apricot scrub or exfoliant from Walmart or the local drugstore. It can cause scratches and tears to the skin.
- Stop plucking your eyebrows between waxing if possible.
- Take makeup off at night before bed.
- Stop “prescribing” for yourself buying peels, exfoliants etc off the internet. You can do some damage with these at home products.
- Please stop apologizing for your skin problems, and stop thinking that its the worst I’ve seen. Its really not. This is what I’m here to help you with.
BONUS: Turn your phone off before your service. Its time for your pampering and relaxation. You and I should not be interrupted by a ringing phone, or stopped in the midst of the service to answer the phone.
